Cobian Reflector • Using incremental backup with a global monolithic archive

I am looking to use Cobain Reflector in order to backup about 2TB of data to a BackBlaze B2 bucket mounted as a network drive. However I have some questions.

I would like to use incremental backup to only backup changed files, however, since I am backing up to a cloud service I'd like to keep the cost down by enabling compression (global monolithic archive). Compressing files individually would be too much of a hassle for users to decompress if data is restored.

Are these two settings compatible? Meaning, can incremental backups work when compression is enabled with global monolithic archive? I ask because it's my understanding that incremental backups will backup only changed files, however, global monolithic archive will just create one large .zip file. So I assume if any file is changed on the source, Cobian will need to recreate the .zip and reupload the entire file to the destination. Is that correct?
