Cobian Reflector • What are File Attributes and how do they affect backup?

What are "File Attributes"? Is there somewhere I can view them?

We have settings related to File Attributes in the following locations:
Tools > Options > Engine > "Copy Timestamps"
[Task] > Edit Task > General tab > "Use File Attributes"
[Task] > Edit Task > Advanced tab > "Clear file attributes (!)"

How do these settings affect backup types (Full, Differential, and Incremental) and the "Create new separate backups" option?

I simulated some backups, but I didn't notice a difference in the destination files.
