Cobian Reflector • empty destination directories

I use Reflector (current version) for FTP backups. Now I have noticed that although the directory structure is created on the FTP target drive, many subdirectories remain empty (not all) although data is available in the source directories. This happens both with incremental backups and with full backups.
Is it a bug or a feature? :
