I can't figure out what is going on. I've used Cobian on several computers int he past with no problem.
Installed Cobian Backup 11 Gravity this afternoon. I wanted to backup all personal files to an external hard drive to support migrating to a new computer.
When I run a backup, all pdf files generate errors as unable to access. Anyone have a clue what to try now?
Things tried>
1> Made sure no files in the directory I'm trying to backup are flagged as "read only"
2> Configured sharing to "everyone" for the documents directory where the error generating pdf files reside.
3> Verified the files open readily when accessed. with acrobat reader. (even notepad opens them but not as readable copy)
Anyone have a clue what the disfunction might be for Acrobat format and ONLY acrobat formatted text files.
