Hello everyone, after the SQL Server DBA questioned a lot about the use of Cobian for file backup and sending to FTP, after many tests we discovered that when performing tasks in Cobian with the shadow volume copy, it simply triggers backup snapshot=1 in SQL Server. This kills all planning done in SQL Server about the SQL Backup timeline.
We have already tried to update the software, but the bug persists.
The only way to solve this is to disable the Windows shadow copy service (from SQL or Cobian).
This is not recommended for either program (SQL Server or Cobian).
