Cobian Reflector • Program functionality

Hello,

I'm testing Reflector and I have questions and problems:

1. How exactly works prediction for differential and incremential backup ?
Where program stores information of date and time of just backup-ed files, to proper qualify files changed since last iteration (full and then differential)?
Is there any database for that, and if true where is located ?

2. Is there a way to create global compressed backup (single zip) file without creating the temp folder ?
In my case I have a lot of small sized files (doc, xls, pdf, jpg, etc) togheter with big files like inboxes of e-mail profiles, all about 250GB and 200 000 files.
In this situation, the best solution is store those files in single zip file, without needs to create folder structure on destination place, which takes more time than transfer small files.
I use external disk connected by USB 3.0 interface as destination place. On the computer I have no enough space to create temp zip file, which then is copied into destination.
I tried set temp folder on destination disk, but it creates the copy in the same way (GUID folder and then copy from them to final location).
It is nonsense.
There any option to change this behaviour ?
Creating temp zip file has sense only by preparing backup for send it into remote folder by FTP (but not for NAS mapped drive).

The same problem is in the previous post.

Regards
ML
